Israeli occupation forces carried out several attacks across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, killing one Palestinian and injuring several others in continued violations of the “ceasefire” agreement.
Israeli artillery, tanks, drones, and naval vessels targeted areas in Beit Lahia, Gaza City, the central refugee camps, and Khan Younis.
UN agencies warned that the continued violations were undermining the truce and obstructing humanitarian access.
A Palestinian man was killed, and others were injured, when Israeli forces struck Beit Lahia in northern Gaza.
Israeli tanks shelled western Beit Lahia, in northern Gaza, while forces detonated structures east of the town amid continuing heavy artillery fire.
The Israeli military said it had carried out a targeted assassination of a Hamas member, alleging that he had been planning attacks against Israeli troops deployed inside the Gaza Strip. Israeli media reported that Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir personally approved the operation.

During the previous week, similar assassinations had reportedly been authorized at lower military levels after political leaders directed the army to reduce targeted killings.
In the central Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery shelled the eastern and northeastern areas of the Al‑Bureij refugee camp.
Israeli tanks and drones opened fire toward civilian homes east of the refugee camp. Medical teams said Israeli forces stationed there shot two Palestinians as they walked along Salahuddin Street.
In Gaza City, Israeli vehicles opened fire east of the city while artillery struck eastern neighborhoods. The Tuffah neighborhood was hit with sustained tank fire, and Israeli naval vessels fired shells toward the Gaza coastline.

In Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, an elderly man was moderately wounded when an Israeli drone dropped an explosive device on a group of civilians in the city center. A child, Mohammad Amir Shaath, was critically wounded in a separate incident when Israeli forces shot him as he returned to his family home.
Israeli artillery also struck northeastern Khan Younis as tanks fired heavily toward the eastern areas of the city.
Hamas said late Wednesday that the continued violations demonstrated the occupation’s determination to sabotage the efforts of mediators, guarantors, and the Peace Council to secure a sustainable ceasefire.

The movement said Israel was refusing to comply with the agreement and called on international parties to pressure the occupation to halt its attacks.
The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs said the continued violations endangered civilians and obstructed humanitarian access. Shelling and live fire forced aid convoys to suspend movement in northern and central Gaza.

UNRWA confirmed that Israeli fire near shelters and distribution points forced the suspension of operations in several northern areas, placing displaced families at further risk.
UN Secretary-General António Guterres called for full respect for the “ceasefire” and an immediate halt to the continued violations, warning that further escalation would deepen the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that since the “ceasefire” began on October 11, 1,259 Palestinians had been killed and 4,148 injured, while 808 bodies had been recovered from destroyed areas. It said the cumulative toll since October 7, 2023, had reached 73,388 Palestinians killed and 174,259 injured.
