Israeli forces carried out invasions across the occupied West Bank, including Jerusalem, early Friday, abducting Palestinians, breaking into homes, restricting movement, and shooting a child in Bethlehem, while colonizers injured Palestinians in a separate attack nearby.
In Tulkarem in the northwestern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Essam Zeidan after invading the town of Deir al-Ghusun and breaking into his home.
The forces also invaded the town of Bal’a, east of Tulkarem, deploying throughout its neighborhoods and positioning troops near the municipal building, health center, schools area, cemetery district, and the al-Dawa area.
Surveillance drones were flown over the town while soldiers patrolled residential streets. No additional abductions were reported.
Israeli forces also invaded the Ektaba suburb east of Tulkarem, deploying in the Ezbet Abu Yassin area and breaking into and extensively searching the home of Rabee Jaber. No abductions were reported there.
Separately, soldiers broke into and searched a home belonging to the Zubaidi family in the area between the Thannaba suburb and Kafr al-Labad, east of Tulkarem, and the home of Nihad Abu Hish in Thannaba’s Rashid neighborhood. Soldiers questioned the residents.
The Israeli military operation in Tulkarem and the surrounding towns, villages, and suburbs has continued amid a siege and complete closure of the Tulkarem and Nur Shams refugee camps. Local sources described Friday as the operation’s 586th consecutive day.
In Nablus in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces abducted Yazan Nael Atta Shtayyeh after invading Salem, east of the city. Security sources said soldiers broke into homes, searched them, and damaged their contents.
Forces also invaded the Old Askar and New Askar refugee camps east of Nablus, where they broke into homes, carried out searches, damaged property, converted some houses into military outposts, conducted field interrogations, and abducted several Palestinians.
Meanwhile illegal Israeli paramilitary colonizers also gathered near Jalud, south of Nablus, and moved toward the illegal colonial outposts established in the area.
In Jenin in the northern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the al-Bayader neighborhood of Jenin city and broke into commercial shops during search operations. Several military vehicles also invaded the town of Qabatia, south of Jenin, where soldiers spread through multiple neighborhoods and conducted extensive searches.
After storming the town of Qabatia for several hours, the army abducted Yasser Abu Raja, Ahmad Abdul Raouf Al-Sahou, Khaled Abu Rabah, Ahmad Al-Maher, Essam Mahmoud Sheikh Rashid, and Abdul Rahim Mahmoud Sheikh Rashid, according to the PPS.
In Ramallah in the central West Bank, Israeli forces closed the main entrance to the town of al-Mughayyir, northeast of the city, preventing residents from entering or leaving the community.
Separately, colonizers gathered on Palestinian-owned land in the Rafid Plain and Shu’ab al-Louz areas east of the town and carried out provocative actions.
Israeli forces also invaded Kafr Malek, east of Ramallah, breaking into dozens of homes and searching and vandalizing property. Soldiers detained a young man and seized his mobile phone; they also physically assaulted another resident.
In Tubas in the northeastern West Bank, Israeli forces invaded the town of Tammun, southeast of the city, with multiple military vehicles and infantry units deploying throughout the area. Soldiers broke into several homes and conducted searches, abducting one young man from his home.
According to the director of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Society (PPS) in Tubas, Kamal Bani Odah, occupation forces abducted the young man Laith Jihad Ahmad Bani Odah (26 years old) after breaking into his house in Tammun town.
In occupied Jerusalem, Israeli occupation authorities issued Hamza Jabr al-Abbasi, a young man from Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque, an order barring him from the mosque for one week. The order could be renewed for several months.
Israeli forces also invaded the Anata junction north of occupied Jerusalem and closed it to vehicle traffic in both directions.
Forces also closed the Jaba military roadblock north of occupied Jerusalem, causing severe traffic congestion and a buildup of vehicles.
Israeli forces also invaded Hizma, north of occupied Jerusalem, deploying on several streets, particularly in the schools’ area. The soldiers also abducted a young man near Qalandia terminal, north of Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that occupation forces arrested a young man while he was passing through the Jaba military checkpoint, while the young man Amir al-Rishq, was abducted near Bab Al-Hutta, one of the gates to the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
South-east of Bethlehem, Palestinians sustained injuries after colonizers sprayed pepper spray at Palestinian vehicles traveling on Abu Njeim Road. The available report did not specify how many people were injured or describe the severity of their injuries.
In related news, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that Israeli soldiers shot a 14-year-old child with live ammunition in the leg during their invasion of Beit Fajjar, south of Bethlehem.
Friday’s invasions and restrictions extended across Tulkarem, Nablus, Jenin, Ramallah, Tubas, Bethlehem, and occupied Jerusalem. Israeli forces abducted Palestinians, broke into homes and businesses, restricted movement, imposed closures, and shot a child in Beit Fajjar, while a colonizer attack also injured Palestinians near Bethlehem.
