On Tuesday, Israeli forces demolished two Palestinian homes in Beit Hanina, north of occupied Jerusalem, and carried out separate demolition and land-clearing operations west of Hebron and in Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem.
Local sources said Israeli soldiers, accompanied by bulldozers and heavy machinery, invaded the al-Ashqariyya neighborhood in Beit Hanina and demolished two homes belonging to the Abu Mayyala and Alqam families.
Separately, Israeli forces demolished an agricultural room and bulldozed Palestinian land in Khirbet Hamsa, west of Hebron.
Local sources said the forces razed privately owned land, demolished stone terraces, and uprooted several trees.
In recent weeks, Israeli authorities have issued demolition notices for several homes and agricultural rooms in the area. Residents said they believe the measures are intended to force Palestinians off their land to make way for a colonial road serving the recently established Tarousa colony.
Also on Tuesday, Israeli bulldozers razed Palestinian land in Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources said the bulldozers began clearing land in the Tablas area, south of the town, describing the work as intended to open roads for military use.
Israeli forces have carried out land-clearing operations in the Tablas area for more than a year, particularly on property bordering the town’s main road.
Five months ago, Israeli forces uprooted approximately 200 olive trees belonging to local residents. Since 2019, they have also demolished retaining walls and commercial structures in the area.
