On Monday morning, the Israeli military abducted two Palestinians from the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, and erected multiple checkpoints.Local sources reported to the Palestine News Agency ‘WAFA’ that the Israeli occupation raided the town of Yatta in the early hours of Monday morning.
During the raid, the soldiers abducted Mohamad Abu Subha and Mohamad Abu ‘Ebaid, after invading their houses, and ransacking their belongings in searches for ‘weapons’ that turned up nothing, but left both homes partially destroyed.
The two men were taken to an unknown location – most likely an Israeli military base.
The sources added that the Israeli soldiers invaded a number of other villages in the Hebron area, during which they conducted inspections of Palestinian citizens’ vehicles and checked the identities of passengers.
