The Israeli military abducted, on Monday morning, Sami Mukhaimer, 30, from the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, in the southern part of the West Bank, and took him to an unknown destination; troops searched several houses in Hebron and surrounding towns..
Mukhaimer is a member of the Palestinian Presidential guard, local sources reported
Security Sources told the Wafa News Agency that the soldiers invaded several neighborhoods in Hebron, conducted military searches of homes, including the house of the prisoner Mas’ab Abu Eshkhedam, the house of Amjad abu Ramoz and Fat-hi al- Joulani.
The army further handed residents Hamouda Al-Joulani, Mohannad Abu Eshkhedam military notices to head to the nearest security base for questioning.
Am eyewitness told the ‘Wafa’ News Agency that the Israeli army installed military roadblocks at the northern entrance of Hebron and at the town of al-dahiriya, southwest of Hebron, stopped several Palestinians vehicles and inspected the ID cards of the passengers.
Another witness reported that, on Sunday evening, an Israeli settler caused a traffic accident injuring local resident Sa’ed Eid,near the settlement of ‘Efrat’.’Eid was moved to Al-Ahly Hospital in Hebron to receive treatment; his condition was described as moderate.
