[Saturday Morning, December 21, 2013] Palestinian medical sources have reported that a young Palestinian man was shot and wounded by Israeli army fire, east of Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.Eyewitnesses said that Israeli soldiers, stationed across the border fence, fired rounds of live ammunition at Palestinians working on their lands, close to the border area, injuring one.
The wounded Palestinian has been identified as Ismael Najjar, 22 years of age.
On Friday evening, soldiers shot and killed one Palestinian youth and wounded four others, in northern Gaza.
The slain Palestinian has been identified as Odah Hamad, 22, from Beit Hanoun.
Two more Palestinians were shot and wounded by army fire near the Eastern Graveyard, in Jabalia, northern Gaza.
Several armored Israeli military vehicles and tanks also invaded an area east of Jabalia, opening fire at random, eyewitnesses said.
Armored military bulldozers also leveled and uprooted agricultural lands in the area.
Also on Friday,Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, stated that two of its fighters were wounded by Israeli army fire, close to the border fence, in Khan Younis.
They were moved to a local hospital suffering moderate injuries.
