Israeli forces attack Gaza fishermen injuring one and troops demolish a Palestinian house in Jerusalem. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

Israeli forces shot and injured a Palestinian fisherman in Gaza on Wednesday, according to local sources. Atef Muhammad Baker, age 19, was shot in the foot after the Israeli navy opened fire on fishing boats off Gaza’s northern coast. Baker was taken to hospital for treatment.

The fishermen were again within the Israeli-imposed fishing zone at the time of the incident, Ayyash added. However, an Israeli army spokesperson claimed that several vessels deviated from the designated fishing zone, with Israeli forces opening fire after they failed to respond to warning shots.

Elsewhere, Several Israeli military and police vehicles, accompanied by a number of bulldozers, invaded Jabal al-Mokabber town, south of occupied East Jerusalem, and demolished a Palestinian home after surrounding it.

The Wadi Hilweh Information Center in Silwan has reported that the soldiers surrounded the home of resident ‘Oleyyan Rabay’a, in the as-Sal’a neighborhood, before storming it.

The soldiers then demolished the home, under the pretext of “being built without a construction permit,” despite the family’s constant efforts to obtain all legal documents, and the heavy fines imposed on them.

The center reported that the soldiers have repeatedly invaded the home, and ransacked its furniture, over the last few months.

Eelier on Wednesday at dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded several Palestinian communities in the northern West Bank district of Nablus, and the southern West Bank district of Hebron, and kidnapped 18 Palestinians. On Tuesday at night, several Israeli military vehicles invaded Deir Abu Da’if village, east of Jenin, and clashed with dozens of local youths.

Medical sources said many Palestinians suffered the effects of tear gas inhalation. Eyewitnesses said the clashes took place after the soldiers invaded many homes, and interrogated family members, while ransacking their properties.

In other news, A Palestinian man from the West Bank city of Tulkarem was shot, then taken into custody by Israeli police in Tel Aviv Wednesday after stabbing several people on a bus. Israeli authorities say they are considering this a ‘terror’ attack. Nine Israelis were wounded, 3 moderately, according to Israeli media.

The 23-year old man apparently entered Israel illegally, despite the massive Israeli Annexation Wall that virtually surrounds Tulkarem and nearby towns. He has not yet been identified.
