Israeli forces, Monday, opened fire on an unidentified Palestinian under the pretext of carrying out an alleged stabbing attack near the neighborhood of al-Musrara , in Jerusalem.In a statement , Israeli police claimed they “neutralized” the youth using gunfire. However, no injuries were reported.
WAFA correspondence said that Israeli forces surrounded and blocked off the shooting scene and prevented access to the Old City by closing the al-Amud and al-Sahera Gates.
Israeli police said the injured youth is a 17-year-old Palestinian from the north of Jerusalem.
His injuries were mainly in the lower parts of his body, and he was transferred to the hospital for medical treatment; his health condition was described as moderate.
Israeli police claimed they transferred two Israeli women to receive medical treatment, one with a light injury and the other with a panic attack.
