Israeli soldiers invaded, overnight until dawn hours, the al-‘Arroub refugee camp, and Beit Ummar town, north of Hebron, searched many homes and abducted three Palestinians, including a former political prisoner. The army also abducted one Palestinian, on Monday evening, near the Ibrahimi mosque.
The soldiers invaded the al-Bayyada area and ‘Erq al-Latoun in Beit Ummar, violently searched homes and abducted Mohammad Ahmad Ekhmayyes, 37, after assaulting and cuffing him in front of his children.
Ekhmayyes is a former political prisoner who was held by Israeli, in various detention and interrogation centers, for two and a half years.
The soldiers also searched the homes of Bader Mahmoud Ekhlayyel, Sa’adi Ali Ekhlayyel, Faisal and Mahmoud Ekhmayyes, looking for what the army called “wanted Palestinians.
In addition, the soldiers abducted two siblings, identified as Abdul-Qader Jabr at-Teety and his brother Shamekh.
On Monday evening, the soldiers also abducted one Palestinian, identified as Dirar Nayef al-Fakhouri, near the Ibrahimi mosque, in Hebron city, for what the armed claimed “carrying a pocket knife”, and took him to Ofer prison.
