Israeli navy ships attacked, earlier Thursday, several Palestinian fishing boats, in the Sudaniyya Sea area, northwest of Gaza City, abducted two fishers, and confiscated their boats.
The navy ships fired several live rounds at the fishing boats while sailing in less than four nautical miles from the shore, and abducted two fishermen, in addition to confiscating their boats.
The abducted fishermen have been identified as Rajab Khaled Abu Ryala, and Khader Marwan Sa’eedi, and took them, along with the boats to Ashdod nearby shore.
The attack is part of ongoing violations against the fishermen, and their boats, in addition to farmers and workers, in Palestinian waters, and in lands close to the border fence, in the besieged coastal region.
Such attacks have led to dozens of casualties, including fatalities, in addition to excessive damage and losses, especially since the navy also frequently confiscates the boats, and the repeated abductions and imprisonment of the fishers.
