A Palestinian man and three Israeli officers killed in a shooting attack near Jerusalem as troops detain civilians across the west Bank. These stories, and more, coming up, stay tuned.

A Palestinian armed man shot and killed on Tuesday morning three Israeli security guards In the Israeli settlement colony of Har Adar near Jerusalem.

The attacker was then shot and killed by the remaining Israeli border guards at the entrance to the settlement colony.

The Palestinian was later identified as Nimir Jamal, 37, a father of four children, from Beit Surik village, northwest of Jerusalem. Israeli news sources reported that the three Israelis are members of the “Israeli Security Forces, a border Policeman and two civilian security guards.”

It should be noted that the settlement colony of Har Adar is a Jewish-only colony constructed on land illegally seized from the Palestinian village of Beit Surik, where the alleged attacker was from.

Elsewhere, soldiers invaded Beit Ummar town, north of the southern West Bank city of Hebron, and wounded several Palestinians during ensuing clashes.

Israeli soldiers also invaded, on Tuesday at dawn, Hebron city, and many surrounding villages and towns, searched homes and abducted one Palestinian.

The soldiers also abducted another Palestinian from Hebron after stopping him at a roadblock, northeast of occupied East Jerusalem.

Moreover, Israeli soldiers abducted, on Tuesday evening, two young Palestinian men in the at-Tour neighborhood, and Silwan town, in occupied East Jerusalem, and caused many Palestinians to suffer the effects of teargas inhalation.
