Eight Palestinians, including children, were killed in separate incidents across the Gaza Strip as Israeli attacks continued across the devastated coastal enclave despite a fragile “ceasefire” agreement.
The “ceasefire,” brokered by Arab and U.S. mediators and signed in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on October 10, 2025, has been repeatedly violated by Israeli military attacks.
In southern Gaza, medical sources said an Israeli drone strike west of Khan Younis killed one Palestinian and wounded several others.

A Palestinian was also injured after Israeli tank fire struck tents housing displaced families east of Hamad City, northwest of Khan Younis.
A child, Amal Nish’at Abu Khater, was killed by Israeli gunfire in the al-Sater al-Gharbi area of Khan Younis. Another Palestinian was wounded by Israeli fire north of the city.
Hamada Ahmad Abu Daqqa later died from injuries suffered in an Israeli attack on the al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis several days earlier. Hazem Abu Mousa also died from wounds sustained in an Israeli strike west of Khan Younis on Sunday.
Moving to central Gaza, Israeli shelling in the Bureij refugee camp killed four-year-old Hassan al-Hafi and injured three others.
Two Palestinians were killed and several others wounded after an Israeli strike targeted a tent sheltering displaced people near Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah early Monday morning.
Israeli aircraft also destroyed a house west of Deir al-Balah, while artillery shelling targeted areas north of the Bureij refugee camp. One of those killed in the Deir al-Balah tent strike was identified as Mohammad Nasser Abu Asad.
Farther north, an Israeli strike on a prayer hall and a nearby home in the Shati’ refugee camp, northwest of Gaza City, injured several Palestinians.
Two Palestinians were also wounded by Israeli fire in the Shuja’iyya and Zeitoun neighborhoods east of Gaza City.
In addition, Mahmoud Hosni Abu Shar later died from wounds sustained in an Israeli strike that targeted the Gaza seaport area last Tuesday.
Separately, the Israeli military said it had carried out an overnight strike in Deir al-Balah targeting two Hamas members. It claimed that one of the two Palestinians already reported killed in the strike belonged to an elite unit of Hamas’ Qassam Brigades.
The Israeli military and Israel’s Shin Bet security agency also said in a joint statement that they had conducted what they described as a precise operation in the Shati’ refugee camp and Deir al-Balah. They claimed to have destroyed two Hamas weapons depots containing firearms, ammunition, and military equipment.
Israeli authorities alleged that the weapons were stored inside two mosques that they said were being used by Hamas members.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza said 1,288 Palestinians have been killed and 4,290 injured since the “ceasefire” took effect, while 813 bodies have been recovered. The ministry reported a cumulative death toll of 73,422 and 174,401 injuries since October 7, 2023.
The ministry added that many victims remain trapped beneath rubble in destroyed areas or in locations inaccessible to rescue and civil defense crews.
