Dozens of Israeli colonialist settlers invaded, on Wednesday morning, the Al-Aqsa Mosque Compound, escorted by a large police and military force.
Eyewitnesses said the attack was carried out by at least 59 colonists, in addition to the soldiers and officers, and took place through the al-Magharba Gate.
The Waqf and Islamic Endowment Department in occupied Jerusalem, said several Israeli official also accompanied the settlers, who conducted a provocative tour after the Palestinians were removed from the area.
The Israeli police allow settlers to conduct daily break-ins into al-Aqsa Mosque, except on Saturdays and Fridays, in two rounds: in the morning and the afternoon.
