Israeli MK Omri Sharon, different to tough talk from his father, said Tuesday that killing Yasser Arafat would be foolish, calling for leaving the Palestinian President ‘stuck’ in his crumbling Ramallah headquarters.
Sharon, the father, vowed in an interview published Tuesday, to expel Arafat from the West Bank ‘at a time that is convenient for us,’
Sharon told Yedioth Ahronoth that he saw no difference between Arafat and assassinated Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.
Israeli security leaders believe that any attempt to expel Arafat would result in killing him as he is likely to resist deportation.
