For the fifth day, Palestinian resistance fired homemade shells at the Gush Katif settlement Bloc in the Gaza Strip.

Resistance groups said that the firing of the shells came after the Israeli army killed three Palestinian children in Rafah on Saturday.

The military radio reported on Wednesday morning that one home made shell at the Gush Katif settlement bloc in the southern Gaza Strip, no injuries.

Also, the Popular Resistance Committees claimed responsibility of firing two homemade shells at the Israeli Negev town of Sderot, and Kfar Azza settlement, east of Gaza.

An Israeli source revealed that Israel demanded the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, to act against the popular Resistance Committees, and claimed that the committees do not recognize the truce arrived in the Sharm Al-Sheikh summit, and rejected to participate in the Cairo talks.

Israeli security officials said that the military will operate against the group if Abbas does not take the ‘needed measures’.
