A group of unknown gunmen opened Saturday fire at a building in the West bank city of Nablus, where two Palestinian Authority ministers held a press conference to explain the conditions of Palestinian political prisoners, who are planning a two days general hunger starting Saturday.

Reporters who attended the press conference reported that a group of gunmen attempted to enter into the conference room, where Minister of prisoners’ affairs Sufian Abu Zaideh, Minister without portfolio Qadora Fares and the secretary general of Palestinian prisoners club were holding a press conference.

The gunmen scuffled with guards who prevented them from entering the hall with their arms. The quarrel erupted into shootings that lasted for 10 minutes, before the gunmen jumped into their cars and drove away. No one was hurt.
