Leader of the Lebanon based Hezbollah party, Sheikh Hasan Nasrallah, said on Wednesday that his party owns 12000 rockets capable of hitting “every area of northern Israel”.
“Every area in the north of occupied Palestine is within reach, settlements, fields, airports, seaports, all are under the feat and hands of the Islamic resistance”, Nasrallah said.
Nasrallah told party supporters in the town of Bint Jebril, marking the fifth anniversary of the Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon, that the party will fight any side which tries to disarm it.
Bint Jebril, south of Lebanon, was occupied by the Israeli army for 22 years.
Also, Nasrallah added that his rockets would “only be used to defend Lebanon”, and that his party does not wish to drag the area into war, “We want to protect our country, thoughts of disarming us are madness”, Nasrallah said.
“We aren’t willing to attack anyone, but we will not allow anyone to attack Lebanon, we will fight anyone who thinks about disarming us”, Nasrallah added.
