Israeli Justice Minister Yosef Lapid said Friday that Israel will not compile to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ruling on the West Bank separation fence,

ICJ will in few hours rule that Israel must dismantle the separation wall and compensate Palestinians for damage caused.

Lapid said Israel would only honor its high court ruling, which called for balancing security needs with local humanitarian needs; ICJ dismissed that the wall was built over security considerations.

‘We will comply with our High Court decisions, and not with the panel of European Union nations, which are not exactly suspected of excessive sympathy for Israel,’ Lapid told Army Radio.

Israeli Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom will discuss Friday afternoon with ministry officials Israel reaction to the ruling.

As a governmental spokesperson said that Israel will only discuss wall route after the implementation of the disengagement plan, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is said to hold meetings on the issue on Sunday.
