The Palestinian ministry of Interior and National Security reported on Monday that it intends to form a special security force from all Palestinian security devices, to maintain law and order in the Gaza Strip and northern West Bank areas after the Israeli withdrawal.
“The force will start its duties immediately after the Israeli withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, the members will receive special training and will be distributed to the evacuated areaâ€Â, the source added.
Also, the Palestinian Prime Minister Ahmad Qorei said on Sunday that an official decision to form the force was taken by the P.A, and that wanted resistance fighters will be part of it. ÂÂ

The forming of the new force comes coherent with the efforts the Palestinian authority is conducting in order to control the security situation in the Palestinian territories, a senior P.A security source said.
