Al-Quds brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad reported that the Israeli army attempted to assassinate one of its prominent leaders in Gaza.
“One of our leaders survived on Sunday, an assassination attempt while he was heading back home in Gaza, some collaborators with the occupation placed a small explosive charge at his door in Sheikh Radwan areaâ€Â, the brigades said.ÂÂ
The charge detonated shortly before he stepped out of his car without harming him.
The brigades released a statement saying that the charge was remotely detonated.
Also, the brigades added that it will retaliate to this assault, adding that “the enemy must pay for its coward actions which are considered direct violations to the “fragile truceâ€Â.
