Sunday at dawn, Israeli soldiers invaded several villages around the West Bank city of Hebron and arrested four residents.
A local source in Hebron reported that soldiers invaded the villages of al-Shiokh, Surif, and Halhoul, north and west of Hebron, and conducted military searches of homes.
In al-Shiokh village soldiers arrested Amer Ibrahim Halaiqa, 26, and Mousa Mohammad al-Mashny, 35, after breaking into their homes and conducting military searches. Damage was reported.
Majed Ayayda, head of al-Shiokh village council, reported that the invasion was carried out at 2am and continued until 4am.
Also, soldiers invaded Surif, north west of Hebron, arresting Ahmad Ali al-Heeh, 23 years old.
The Hebron office of the Palestinian Prisoners Society reported that soldiers arrested Eyad Ahmad al-Teety, 26, after breaking into his home in Nabi Younis neighborhood in Hebron.
Since the beginning of this month Israeli soldiers have arrested 17 residents in Hebron and the surrounding villages.
