An Israeli medical source reported that two settlers were seriously injured in Naveh Dikalim settlement in the Gaza Strip on Sunday, when a resistance group fired homemade shells at the settlement. Two other settlers sustained mild injuries.

The source said that the settlers were airlifted to Soroka Hospital in Be’er Shiva.

According to Israeli military sources, the shells exploded in the garden of a home in the settlement, injuring four settlers, two seriously.

Also on Sunday, an Israeli explosives expert was injured in Naveh Dikalim when the resistance fired a shell. The incident occured while he was examining an explosion site of shells which had been previously fired at the settlement
