A special army unit, backed by four military vehicles invaded Bethlehem old city Tuesday at noon.
Eyewitnesses told IMEMC that soldiers were driving a Palestinian civilian car attempted to arrest an Islamic Jihad activist who entered a shop in the city.
Clashes erupted between stone throwing youth and the soldiers.
Troops arrested Hasan Abu Hlaiel 40, shop keeper from Bethlehem and took him to an unknown destination.ÂÂ
