An Israeli military source reported on Saturday at night, that two settlers were killed after a Palestinian resistance group fired at their vehicle on a road leading to the Kissufim crossing leading to the Gush Katif settlement bloc, in the southern Gaza Strip.

Soldiers exchanged fire with two fighters, killing one of them during searches carried out in the area following the shooting.

Army source reported that soldiers are conducting military searches in an attempt to locate the second fighter. 

The army believes that the two fighters infiltrated from Gaza and ambushed settlers’ vehicles at the Kissufim crossing. 

Al-Aqsa martyrs brigades, the military wing of Fateh, and the Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility for the shooting.

On Saturday at night, Israeli soldiers based at military camps surrounding Netzer Hazani settlement, north of Khan Younis, fired at dozens of homes in the area; damage reported, no injuries.
