Israeli soldiers shot and wounded two residents, on Wednesday afternoon, in the northern West Bank city of Jenin, after invading it.

A local source in Jenin reported that at least twenty military vehicles and armoured jeeps, invaded the eastern neighbourhood and Iz Ed-Deen valley area, broke into dozens of homes using some of them as military posts and monitoring towers.

Also, soldiers fired rounds of live ammunition at dozens of residents in the two areas; two residents identified as Amir Jarrar, 23, and Rani abu Nahar, 22, were injured.

Damage was reported in dozens of vehicles and homes.
