Israeli TV Channel 2 reported on Friday at night that Israel is weighing the possibility of allowing Egypt to provide the P.A with ammunition.

“The development comes after the United States practiced pressure on Israel”, channel 2 revealed.

Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, did not approve the decision yet, but his advisor Dov Weisglass, is holding talks with the Israeli Security minister, Shaul Mofaz to discuss this issue.

The initial plan suggests that Israel should allow Egypt to transfer a limited amount of ammunition to the Palestinian security in return to improving the security situation in the area.

Recently, the US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice informed Israel that if the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, abu Mazin, is not provided with ammunition the P.A might collapse, and Israel will have to face Hamas.
