Scores of internationals, Israelis, and Palestinians from numerous villages in the Salfit area marched on Tuesday in Bani Hassan village protesting the abuse of local residents at the checkpoints.
The protesters raised banners against the Israeli occupation of their lands and the inhuman treatment and abuses at the checkpoints.
Nesfat AL Khafash, one of the protestors and a resident of Bani Hassan village said, ‘These checkpoints do not provide security; they are only for humiliating the local residents and make their life harder’.
