Israeli soldiers on Sunday night invaded Azzoun, a village east of Qalqilia, and imposed a curfew barring the residents from leaving their homes until further notice.

The WAFA news agency reported that soldiers, supported by dozens of military jeeps, surrounded the village and invaded it.

Dozens of homes were searched, and five residents were detained and interrogated for several hours. Earlier on Sunday, soldiers uprooted dozens of olive trees east of the village.
