Nathmi Mhanna, head of the Border Crossing Department at the Palestinian Authority, said on Friday that the Rafah Border Crossing, which links the Gaza Strip with Egypt, will remain opened during the Israeli pullout from the Gaza Strip.

Mhanna stated that there will be no closure of the trade crossings and that merchants and good will be allowed to cross.

Mhanna added that the P.A has held talks with Jordan and Egypt in order to facilitate the movement of the Palestinian residents trying to cross into the two countries.

Jordan and Egypt said that they are coordinating with the Israeli side in order to avoid any jamming and delays at the crossings.
