A local source in Azzoun village, east of Qalqilia, reported that Israeli soldiers fired rubber-coated bullets and rounds of live ammunition at hundreds of residents who protested in their orchards against an Israeli military order to annex them.

Eight residents were injured, one critically, a medical source in Qalqilia reported; the injured resident was transferred to the Specialized Hospital in Nablus.

  

The injured residents were identified as Sa’id Suwwan, head injury by a live round, Ramzi Zahran, head injury by a rubber-coated bullet, Maan al-A’raj, Ahsraf Mansour Saleem, head injury by a rubber coated bullet, Abdul-Aziz Saleem, Ala’ al-Nashma, Zahi Omran, and Mohammad abu Haniyya. 

Soldiers completely surrounded the village, and several surrounding areas, and barred the residents from entering or leaving it.
