On Tuesday, for the third day, the Israeli army resumed its closure of the roads which connect the West Bank city of Salfit with the surrounding villages.

Soldiers did not allow the residents to enter or leave Salfit, which prevented dozens of students from reaching their schools and universities.

Army claims that the closure was imposed for “security reasons” during the pullout from the Gaza Strip and four settlements in the West Bank.
