Israeli High Court called on the Israeli Prime Minister, Ariel Sharon, to examine the possibility of requesting the Palestinian Authority to preserve and protect synagogues in Gush Katif settlement Bloc, in the Gaza Strip.
The court also called on Sharon to ask international officials to aid in preserving the synagogues in evacuated settlements.
