A Palestinian security source in Gaza reported that 19 residents were killed, at least eighty injured, in the blast which took place during a rally for Hamas movement in Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
 120 residents were injured in the blast, 20 seriously.
“The explosion took place apparently as a result of a “technical error†in a car which was filled with explosivesâ€Â, a Palestinian security source reported.
Moawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency Unit at the Ministry of Health, reported that ten bodies were transferred to Kamal Adwan hospital, four bodies were transferred to Al Awada Hospital, and five bodies were transferred to Al Shifa hospital in Gaza.
“The bodies were severely mutilatedâ€Â, Dr. Hassanen said.
The Fateh Central Committee, held the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, responsible for the blast.
The movement called on the Palestinian factions to remove the explosives from the residential areas, and stop all sorts of display of weapons and explosives in the residential areas.ÂÂ
At least 16 killed in Gaza Blast, 80 injured

The Palestinian Television reported on Friday at night that 16 residents were killed; at least 80 were injured, 12 seriously, in an explosion which occurred during a Hamas rally in Gaza.
Two children are among the killed residents, the Palestinian TV reported.
Some media reports revealed that the number of residents killed in the blast was 19, but the Palestinian TV confirmed that 16 residents were killed.
Dr. Moawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency Unit at the Ministry of Health, reported that the bodies of nine residents were transferred to Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahia, and seven bodies were transferred to Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza.
The Israeli army denied reports that it is behind the explosion; an Israeli military source reported that military drones were flying over the Gaza Strip, after the Palestinian resistance fired shells at Sderot, but did not carry any military operation, according to the Israeli military source.
According to the Israeli army, 10 homemade shells were fired at Sderot at exploded in open areas, no damage or injuries were reported.

At least ten Palestinians, including two children, were killed and seventy were injured in an explosion which took place in Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, on Friday evening.
Dr. Moawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency Unit at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, reported that the bodies of ten residents were severely mutilated as a result of the blast, and that 70 residents were injured, 12 seriously.
Dr. Hassanen appealed the residents not to gather in front of the hospital or at the blast area in order to enable medical and Civil Defense teams conduct their duties without interruptions.
Ismail Al Ashqar, one of Hamas leaders, held Israel responsible for the blast, and said that an Israeli mini-drone was hovering over Gaza skies before the blast, which took place while Hamas members and supporters were marching in the streets.ÂÂ
Meanwhile, the Israeli army denied involvement in the blast which took place only hours after the resistance fired homemade shells at the Israeli Negev town of Sderot, three homemade shells were also fired at Kfar Azza area, in the eastern part of the Gaza Strip.
Thousands of residents participated in the rally, in addition to senior leaders and fighters of Hamas’ military wing.
According to Israeli sources, Hamas paraded with homemade weapons and explosives.
Also, Palestinian sources reported that among the dead was Ahmad Randour, a senior Hamas military wing leader.
