A media source in Jenin, reported that a leader of Al Aqsa Brigades, the military wing of Fateh movement, survived an assassination attempt, in Al Yamoun village, near Jenin.

Raed Frehat was present at a home in Al Yamoun, when Israeli cannons shelled it, before invading the village.

Frehat was moderately injured, a medical source in Jenin reported. 

More than 40 vehicles, invaded the village after surrounding it and closing its entrances, and arrested four residents, a local source reported

The residents were identified as Amin Al Atir, 50, member of the Islamic Jihad, Amer Al Atir, 27, member of Hamas, in addition to a Fateh member identified as Mustafa Abahra, 24, and a fourth resident identified as Mohammad Abu Hasan, 27 years old.

At least 90 residents were arrested on Sunday night and Monday at dawn, in several West Bank areas. The arrests were carried out after the Israeli cabinet decided to target the resistance factions in the occupied territories.
