Israeli soldiers arrested three residents in the West Bank city of Hebron and the neighboring villages of Beit Ummar and Surif.

Palestinenet news website reported on Wednesday that soldiers arrested on Wednesday morning a young girl identified as Riham Bader Abu Ayyash, 18, from Beit Ummar village.

Soldiers claimed that Abu Ayyash attempted to stab an Israeli soldier at a checkpoint installed on the eastern entrance of Beit Ummar.

Eyewitnesses who were present at the checkpoint denied the military report which claimed that she was carrying a knife and intended to stab a soldier.

In Surif village, north west of Hebron, soldiers arrested Ibrahim Abdullah Ghneimat, 45, after breaking into his home on Tuesday at night.

Ghneimat was arrested after under-cover military units of the Israeli army surrounded his home in Deir Al Niel neighborhood in Surif.

Ghneimat has been on the Israeli wanted list since 1997 after the Israeli security claims that he was involved in a bombing in Tel Aviv.

Also, soldiers arrested resident Mohammad Ziad Abu Rmeila, in Hebron, after the soldiers detained him near the Ibrahimi mosque in Hebron.
