Member of Knesset, Eliezer Cohen, from the National Union Party submitted a bill, on Monday, which aims to annex parts of the West Bank to Israel.
The bill specifically proposes annexing the West Bank settlements of Ariel, Jiv’at Zeev, and Gush Azion to Israel.
Cohen claims at the introduction of his proposal that these settlements are part of the State of Israel, and are under Israeli laws; therefore they should be annexed to Israel and be considered part of it.
Also, Cohen submitted another project to the Knesset which aims to bar any Israeli resident, especially the Arabs, who visit a “hostile country” such as Iran, from voting to the Knesset or running the elections as a candidate.
