A Palestinian medical source in Gaza reported, on Thursday morning, that a resident Radwan area in Gaza was shot and killed by Israel soldiers, earlier on Thursday morning, while he was in an area east of Al Boreij refuge camp.

An Israeli army source claimed that the resident is a Hamas, and that he was shot and killed by the soldiers overnight after trying to plant an explosive device south of the Karni Crossing.

A second resident was injured, but managed to escape, army source added.

Dr. Moawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency Unit at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, reported that resident Akram Abu Ghadyeen, 22, suffered multiple gunshot injuries to several parts of his body.

Dr. Hassanen stated that Ghadyeen was transferred to Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir Al Balah, and then he was transferred to Al Shifa hospital in Gaza due to the seriousness of his condition.

Ghadyeen died of his wounds at Al Shifa hospital.
