Israeli soldiers, supported by 30 armored vehicles, invaded on Monday at dawn the West Bank city of Nablus from Huwwara checkpoint entrance, and surrounded a house in Al-Daheya Al-‘Olya neighborhood, the Maan News Agency reported.
Troops broke into a house which belongs to Al-Qutub family, searched it and attacked one member of the family.
Soldiers intensively deployed in Amman Street and Al-Masaken Al- al Sha’biyya neighborhood, and searched the houses using police dogs, and fired stun grenades before evacuating its residents.
Eyewitnesses reported that soldiers occupied rooftops of several constructions using them as monitoring towers; the buildings belong to the families of Al-Shakhsheer and Al-Madbouh.
“Soldiers gathered the residents in the ground floor”, a local source reported, “The youth were forced to take their clothes off before soldiers broke into the homes”.
Scores of settlers accompanied under covered military units of the Israeli army invaded Nablus from Al- Hesbah Street and headed to the Joseph Tomb area, near the Balata refugee camp.
