Israeli troops arrested, on Tuesday morning, eight residents from several cities and towns in the West Bank.

Five were arrested in the West Bank city of Hebron during an invasion to the city. The residents are said to be members of Fateh movement.

Also troops arrested another one in Tiqua village, south of Bethlehem, and two others were arrested in Al Obeydiyya village near Bethlehem, and Al Samoa’ village near Hebron.

The residents are allegedly Islamic Jihad activists, Israeli sources reported.

Israeli soldiers arrested at least 700 Palestinian residents from the West Bank during the last two months for security reasons.
