The Hebron office of the Palestinian Prisoners Society reported, on Thursday, that Israeli soldiers arrested 40 residents in the West Bank city of Hebron since the beginning of November.
The residents were arrested in dozens of military invasions carried out in the city of Hebron and the surrounding villages.
 
The army continued it military procedures, and closure in the city and its nearby villages, and broke into dozens of homes. Hundreds of residents were detained and interrogated by the soldiers, in addition to dozens of attacks which were carried out by the settlers against the residents of the city.
 
Soldiers arrested, on Thursday morning, three residents including a 16-year old child, in Beit Ummar and Karma villages, near Hebron, after invading them and breaking into dozens of homes.
 
The child, Waheeb Nimir Alqam, 16, was arrested during clashes which erupted after the soldiers invaded the village, and broke into dozens of homes, no injuries were reported.
 
Meanwhile, in Karma village, soldiers surrounded the houses of Mazin Ahmad Al Awawda, 22, and Omar Ibrahim Al Awawda, 21; both are university students.
 
In a separate incident, Israeli soldiers installed dozens of roadblocks around Hebron, detained and interrogated dozens of residents.
 
The roadblocks were mainly installed near the villages of Ein Al Qurna, Al Hawouz Al Awwal, Al Hawouz Al Thani, Wadi Al Harya, and the University neighborhood in Hebron.
 
On Wednesday at night, Israeli soldiers installed a military monitoring tower on a road which links Beit Einoun area with Keryat Arba’ settlement, in the city.
 
On Thursday morning, Israeli soldiers arrested seven residents in Ramallah, Tulkarem and Bethlehem, in the West Bank.
