Israeli army troops invaded, on Friday at dawn, the West Bank city of Tulkarem; ten residents were arrested.
Troops invaded the village of Atil near the city and arrested nine residents said to be Islamic Jihad Activists, while one more was arrested during an invasion of the nearby village of Alar. All of the arrestees names remain unknown, local sources reported.
Soldiers sealed off the city by closing the main roads with roadblocks and a checkpoint which cut off the city from the surrounding villages.
This invasion of the city comes shortly after the double suicide attack, targeting a military checkpoint posted on the city outskirts, in which four Palestinians and one Israeli military officer were killed, which was carried out by two Palestinians, one from Atil village and the other from Jenin refugee camp
