Palestinian and Egyptian sources reported that Maher Abdul-Wahid, the Egyptian general councilor, ordered the release of all Palestinian residents charged of the latest incidents in Rafah, after infiltrating there.
 
The residents entered the Egyptian area after gunmen blew a hole in the border wall between the Egyptian and Palestinian sides of Rafah.  
 
The order includes releasing 117 residents, including 64 who are below 18 years old; they will be handed to the Palestinian Authority through the Rafah Border Crossing.
