A Palestinian source in Ramallah reported that an armed group fired at the home of, Nasser Yousef, the Palestinian Interior Minister, on Thursday evening, and injured one of his body guards; two residents were injured in the attack.
The shooting attack took place in Sateh Marhaba area, in the West Bank city of Ramallah. Two residents who were passing by the home of Yousef were injured.
Palestinian security sources confirmed the attack, and said that it is probing it.
In a separate incident, armed men fired, on Thursday evening, several rounds of live ammunition at the ministerial headquarters in Ramallah.
Ala’ Hosney, head of the Palestinian Police in the West Bank, reported that three armed men were arrested.
He stated that a vehicle transporting armed men passed by the headquarters at 19:00, and fired at the building.
Policemen guarding the building returned fire, chased the vehicle, and arrested the three gunmen.
Unconfirmed sources reported that the armed men are members of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the military wing of Fateh.
