Salah Ed Deen Brigades, the military resistance wing of Popular Resistance Committees, fired homemade shells at military posts in the Gaza Strip, the Maan News Agency reported.
The group issued a statement Wednesday claiming responsibility for launching two homemade shells at an Israeli military post near the Sofa crossing, east of the Gaza Strip.
The Brigades reported that firing the homemade shells comes in retaliation to the assassination of the Al Qassam brigades’ leader in Tulkarem, on Tuesday morning.
