On Tuesday afternoon, in an invasion of Araba village south of Jenin, in the west bank, Israeli forces killed two Palestinians in a siege on their home in the village. The Israeli military reports that one Israeli soldier was injured in the attack.Israeli forces invaded the village after using undercover military units to initiate the assault. Villagers report that two helicopters circled the area while Israeli military forces launched an all-out assault on the home.

Nidal Abu Sada, 28, Sariya Al Quds leader in the West Bank, was killed after exchanging fire with the army after soldiers surrounded a house he was hiding in.

The Israeli security claims that Abu Sada planned the Netanya Kenyon suicide bombing which was carried out in July 2005; five Israelis were killed.

Israel also holds Abu Sada responsible for bombings in Hadera and Tel Aviv.

The second resident who was killed in the attack was identified as Ahmad Toubasy, 18, from the Jenin refugee camp.

Local source in the village reported that the invasion was carried out by 20 armored military vehicles; fire exchange was reported.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian Interior Ministry described the killing of the two fighters as a coward attack carried by the army.

The ministry condemned the assassination adding that the assassination, arrests, invasions and all sorts of military violations will not contribute to the area’s stability and security.

The statement called the international community to pressure Israel to stop its aggression against the Palestinian people.

Twenty-two Palestinians were arrested overnight in several West Bank cities and villages. The arrestees are members of Fateh, Islamic Jihad, Hamas, and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

The residents were arrested in the areas of Ramallah, Hebron, Nablus, Bethlehem and Jenin.
