Spokesperson of the EU Commission, Kholoi Di laGuardia, on Saturday affirmed that the Commission transferred its Danish and French observers from the Gaza Strip to Israel. He said that this procedure is a preventative one.
This move came in the wake of the escalated tension in the Palestinian territories after the publishing of insulting cartoons in a Danish newspaper, depicting Prophet Mohammad with a bomb in his turban.
