A Palestinian police officer, a members of the presidential guard unit, was killed on Tuesday in the West Bank city of Ramallah, when he was shot by mistake by another officer guarding the prime minister’s office in the city.
Hassan Hassan, 20, originally from the West Bank city of Jenin, sustained a fatal bullet wound in the chest when a bullet was fired by another officer while cleaning his gun.
Hassan was rushed to a nearby hospital in the city but he died shortly afterward of his wounds, Palestinian security sources reported.
