Thursday evening, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) denied  media reports confirming the the movement has decided to join the Hamas government.A PFLP source reported that the participation of the movement in the upcoming government depends on the political and social program of Hamas.

Hamas still did not declare its official political program in running the Palestinian government.

The PFLP released a statement stressing that its official position will be expressed through official representatives and the movement’s media center.

Meanwhile, the Israeli Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz, stated on Thursday that Israel decided to conduct acts which would obstruct the conducts of the  Hamas-led government.

Israel and the United States are demanding Hamas to recognize the state of Israel and its right to exist; Hamas said that it cannot recognize a state which is still occupying the Palestinian people and land, and carries daily attacks against.

The two countries also demand Hamas to disarm and abandon the armed resistance.

During the scheduled first meeting of the new government on Saturday, Hamas is likely to lay out a completely new political platform and agenda; it may find itself obliged to repeat its calls for other factions to join its government.
