Israeli soldiers annexed on Sunday 766 Dunams of farmland that belong to residents of villages west of Bethlehem in order to construct the annexation Wall in the area.
The Popular Committee For Land Defense reported that troops handed dozens of residents from the villages of Al Walaja, Husan, Batteer, Al Qabo, Wad Fokkin, and Surif, military orders informing them that army intends to annex 766 Dunams for Wall construction.

The Committee considered these orders as a new wave of attacks against the Palestinians and their orchards, and as an attempt by Israel to set the borders of the so called “Greater Jerusalem” project.

The Israeli project to create the Greater Jerusalem will lead to annexing 72000 Dunams in Bethlehem area.

Also, the Committee added that the Israeli decision to annex and grab more lands in the area is a direct violation to the International Law and all international Human Rights treaties.
