Israeli army forces stormed Al Fouar refugee camp, south of the West Bank city of Hebron, on Tuesday morning. During the invasion, youth throwing stones at the invading military force were fired upon with live ammunition by the Israeli soldiers — six Palestinian youth were arrested.
Sari Abu Hashehash, 17, and Ayman Abu Hashehash were arrested when troops invaded the camp, imposed curfew and started wide scale searches of the residents’ houses.
One of the houses the army searched was the house of Mohamed Shwabka, claiming that he was ‘wanted’ by the army; his wife was detained and released after several hours, eyewitnesses reported.
Clashes erupted during the invasion between the stone throwing youth and the invading troops, injuring six of the youth; the army closed the area, preventing ambulances and reporters from arriving to the scene, local sources reported.
